How do I set up an account with Rook Media and how much does it cost?
Using Rook Media is free of charge. To set up an account, click the Sign Up button in the top right of the screen. Once you have submitted the form and your application has been approved, we will contact you within one business day with your account details.
How do I add domains to my account?
When you are logged into your account, click "Domain Settings" and then click "Add Domains" in the top right of the screen. Add your domains in the box and click "Save & Continue".
What do I do if my domain is in another user's account?
If one or more of your domains is listed in another user's account, you can download the domains which were not successfully added and contact your account manager or email@example.com in order to get them moved.
Does Rook Media support all TLDs and IDN domains?
Yes, you can park any domain with Rook Media provided that has an ICANN approved TLD.
How do I park my domains with Rook Media?
There are three ways of parking domains with us:

What type of traffic is allowed on Rook Media?
Rook Media only allows traffic from type in sources or existing incoming links. We do not allow traffic generated using methods including but not limited to incentivized clicks, arbitrage, link farms or any other artificial traffic on domains. Rook Media will not pay out revenues for traffic coming from any of these sources. If you are unsure about traffic on your portfolio, please contact our support beforehand. How and when do Rook Media pay out my revenue?
Our payment terms are Net 30. So, for example, September will be paid out October 30th. You can choose either Wire Transfer or PayPal as your payout options. The minimum payout thresholds are $200 for Wire Transfer and $50 for PayPal.
When are my Rook Media statistics finally audited?
Any time you see a red asterisk (*) in your account, it means that the statistics are estimated. In general, our statistics are audited 24 hours after the end of each day, so Monday's statistics will be audited on Tuesday evening. Once the asterisk is removed, the statistics are audited and they will not change again. In the rare cases where auditing takes longer than 24 hours, we will notify you with an estimate of when auditing will be finished.
How do I optimize my domains?
We have automated the optimization process for domains on our system, so you do not need to make any optimization settings on Rook Media. If you do have any special optimization requests, please contact your account manager or our support at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll gladly have a look at your portfolio in detail.
Can I access my stats using an API?
Yes. If you would like to access your stats via the Rook Media API, please contact your account manager or email email@example.com for further instructions on using the API.
